Thinking about Friede kissing an almost-comatose Amethio (who is conscious but Friede isn't sure how much he's aware of) and Gibeon walks in

Yes! He wants someone to punish him for it because that way he's reassured what he's doing is wrong but Gibeon not caring wasn't what Frie expected at all so it throws him for a complete loop and he's like "BUT SIR"

Frie feels bad for bringing it up but Ame tells him he doesn't remember his mother anyway, so it's not like it makes him sad

Perhaps what makes Frie snap and want to bring Gibe over is that Ame would potentially admit that he is sad over his father not coming to see him? Or implies that he misses him?

I like that idea too! Ame trying to act like he's not bothered by it but Frie can tell he is and he knows parents always regret not spending more time with their kids when the kids are dying in hospital, so that's also why he makes an effort
