I love the idea that Gibe is completely and utterly terrifying when he's angry... He can shut people up just by glaring at them intensely and all he needs to say to get someone to behave a is a single word ("Silence", "Leave", "Behave", etc) like he's issuing commands to a dog...

Gibe hesitates for a several moments, like he's trying to find the right words to say"

[Me] Gibe wakes up feeling awful and almost wants to take a day off work but he knows he can't keep running away
[Me] So he does very awkwardly apologise to Ham again and says that he wants to get closer to his sons and at least attempt to patch things up with Ame a little bit before Ame dies (if Ame's willing, which Gibe admits he probably won't be) and Ham smiles at him
"[Me] Ham: There's the Gibeon-sama I know. Thank you for finally understanding...
Gibe: ...Watch it
Ham: I shall speak with Amethio-sama myself. If you approach him directly, I think he'll be more likely to refuse

[Me] It takes Gibe a page or two to figure out what's going on, and he promptly closes the book and puts it back down where he found it
