I point to a nearby monitor, which is covered in a lot of megaphones. Usagi also leaps off the stone object to run over the monitor.

On the screen, the Monokubs are sitting happily in the sofa with drinks in their hands.

I don’t recognize the room they are in. It’s covered in wallpaper of a dark sky, and has a terrible, poisonous vase filled with roses beside the sofa. Behind them, there is a window showing nothing but red swirl petterns, which gives me no clues. I pin my eyes at the screen, trying to grab any information I can...only to scream when I find that the small dolls scattered on the floor or hanged from the wall all resemble us.





Monophanie: Hiiii! Thanks for bear-ing with us!

Monokid: Kepts you bastards waiting, huh?!

Monotaro: Everyone, make your way to the gym please.

Monokid: The opening ceremony can finally begin!

Monotaro: Phew! We finally finished our preparations!

Monosuke: ...You do realize you just read your lines backwards, don’t you?



Monokubs: So long! Bear-well!



The image cut out abruptly and the broadcast ends.

Yui: Gym...? Opening ceremony?

It was...different. Although they were still behaving stupidly as usual, they gave us a clear instruction. Not just three of us here, they must have announced to all the students in the academy through the monitors everywhere. In other words, we are all being called to the gym now...

Hikaru: Yui, what do you think?

Yui: I guess we all should go, but...

Hikaru: But?

Yui: I don’t know where the gym is, or do you?

We haven't actually been to the gym yet. Maybe we accidentally overlooked it while exploring...

Usagi: I know the gym!
