We move forward to find a monument like a bird cage. When I open that red door...

Yui: ...Wow,

there is a circular courtyard full of pink and white pretty flowers, with pillars twined round by ivy and the water flowing from above a shapely object. In the midst of this scene, there is a girl humming.

Yui: Hello! Look like you’re having fun,

???: Nnh?

The girl turns her pink eyes towards us, as if she finally noticed us.

???: Hoppin’ poppin! Nice to meet my friends.

Yui: Nice to meet you!

She has two large buns of pure white hair and short, cropped bangs. Her short sleeves and pants reveals her youthful skin.

Usagi: I’m Usagi Shiratobi and I’m the Ultimate Jumpin’ Athlete.

Yui: Jumping...?

She smiles at us and takes a step or two...away from the object.

Usagi: I can show you,

Yul: What...?

Ignoring us, unable to comprehend what she says, she kicks the hard stone ground. She steps forward with all her might and jumps up. She rise high into the air...and lands on the top of the object that looks four meters tall.

Usagi: Tadaaa!

Yui: Whoa! That’s great! It’s like...you fly!

I just look up. Somehow, I understand what she means by a jumping athlete. She’s a pure jumper, literally. Even so, leaping the height of a floor effortlessly...it’s beyond the human ability.

Usagi: I love the moments when I feel like I can touch the sky.

She is leisurely gazing at the sky. I feel a little left behind, but still her laid-back attitude attracts me.

Yui: Usagi...How do you keep your calm...? When you’re locked in this place...

Usagi: Hmm...I know I should go, but I don’t know what to do. So I think I’ll just keep both moving and waiting.

If only I could wait at my pace, I would not be driven by such anxiety. Though I have no choice but to deal with it in my own way because my pace is different from hers, I admire her optimistic way of thinking.

While I watch Usagi playing with the water,
